Musk is the founder and CEO of the electric automotive company Tesla Motors, and SpaceX, a private aerospace company specializing in space transport. He is also one of the co-founders of PayPal and chairman of SolarCity, a provider of solar energy systems. Musk graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Physics.

He was an early investor in Facebook making an angel investment of $500,000 in Facebook for %10.2 of the company in 2004. He is currently a managing partner in the Founders Fund.
